Experienced Dentists in Wichita, KS
Dr. AJ
From Tulsa to the Dental Chair
Dr. Andrew Johnson (Dr. AJ) grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After graduating from Union High School he attended Austin College in Sherman, TX (Go Roos!) to play soccer as well as start his pursuit of a career in dentistry. While at Austin College he received numerous academic and athletic awards, including “Male Athlete of the Year” his senior season.
Education and the Move to Wichita
After getting his degree at Austin College, he attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2018. Soon afterwards he moved to Wichita to start his career.
Though not originally from Wichita, he is no stranger to the area. His mother grew up nearby so Wichita was always like a second home growing up and he is proud to call it home now.
Life Outside the Office
In his free time, he enjoys staying active, attempting to get better at golf, and hanging out at the local breweries with friends. What he enjoys most about dentistry is educating patients on just how important our teeth and oral health are to our overall health. A happy, healthy smile for as long as you need it is his and the teams’ goal at 316 Dental.
Dr. Cole
Wichita, KS Through and Through!
Dr. Kelsie Cole grew up in Wichita, Kansas. She graduated as salutatorian from Wichita Collegiate High School and attended the University of San Diego for one year, where she discovered her love for dentistry and Kansas! She transferred to Kansas State University, where she later graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Education and the Move Home
After marrying her husband, they moved to Kansas City so she could attend the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry. She graduated with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2020, returning to Wichita to be close to her family as she started her dental career.
Life Outside the Office
Dr. Cole loves helping patients understand how to fix and care for their teeth, while meeting them where they are at. She understands that visiting the dental office is not everyone’s favorite thing to do, but if she can help them feel more at ease and to not fear the dentist, that is her goal! Outside of dentistry, she loves to read, write, hang out with friends, and chase after her twin daughters.
