Meghan
Meghan was born and raised in the Wichita area. She is a graduate of the dental hygiene program at Wichita State University and is an avid Shocker fan. Through her many years of dental hygiene experience, patients have become her passion.
Meghan enjoys being outside and spending time with her two children.
Elder
Elder was born in Guatemala, immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 8, and was raised in Dodge City, Kansas. He received his Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene at Flint Hills Technical College in 2019. Elder takes great pride in developing a connection with his patients and believes trust and communication is important to promote good oral health. His goal is to help patients maintain a healthy smile that will last them a lifetime!
Elder enjoys spending time with his wife Stephanie (who is also a dental hygienist) and their 5 furr-babies (4 dogs and a cat)! During his spare time, Elder loves to travel, lift weights, and immerse himself in all things Star Wars.
Steven
Steven came to the U.S. from Vietnam with his mother at the age of 13. He graduated from Wichita State University’s dental hygiene program in 2001. His goal is to help patients understand their oral health so they can have the best, healthy smiles.
Steven is an animal and beach lover. In his spare time, he volunteers and spends time with his mother.
Elena
Elena was born and raised in the city of Wichita. She completed a dental assistant program in 2012 and has been in the dental field ever since. She has been assisting Dr. AJ since 2019.
She loves helping people be proud of their smile. Her calm and patient demeanor is an asset to all patients, especially those with dental anxiety. (Sometimes stress balls just aren’t enough!)
Elena’s favorite things are music, reading, kickboxing, and watching movies. She loves animals, beaches, Wonder Woman, and being with her family. Elena is also a trained cosmetologist.
Courtney
With over a decade of experience in the dental field, Courtney brings both skill and heart to her role as a dental assistant. She is passionate about helping patients feel more confident in their smiles and believes there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone take pride in their health and well-being.
Originally from Texas, Courtney is a proud mom to three handsome sons. Their home is also shared with two cats, Teddy and Bear, and a dog named Harvee. When she’s not at the office, you’ll likely find her enjoying time in her backyard – gardening, swimming, grilling, or simply relaxing. She cherishes Sundays at church and treasures every moment spent with her family.
LaToya
LaToya was born and raised in Wichita, KS, alongside her three siblings. She’s always cherished the value of family and connection. After moving to Kansas City, she balanced completing her studies with the joys and challenges of raising four beautiful children. She’s always had a true passion and desire to care for others. In 2010, she became a Certified Dental Assistant and dedicated herself to the field. She returned home to Wichita in 2019 so that she could be closer to her father and siblings.
LaToya continues to watch her children grow into kind, compassionate individuals. It is one of her greatest joys. She has a deep love for God and music. There’s nothing more calming to her than being near any body of water. LaToya is also passionate about building meaningful connections and feels truly honored to service and care for some of her favorite people – her patients!
Rose
Rose is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the dental field. She is a graduate of Wichita Area Vocational-Technical School and also holds a license in cosmetology, which reflects her diverse skill set and dedication ot continued professional development. Throughout her career, Rose has been recognized for her commitment to patient care and her strong work ethic.
Outside of her professional life, Rose is deeply devoted to her family. She is the proud mother of eight children and fourteen grandchildren! In her personal time, she enjoys engaging in DIY projects, cooking, and creating meaningful moments with her family and friends.
Yazmin
Yazmin plays an essential role in keeping our office running smoothly. Her main focus is on presenting treatment options and scheduling appointments. She’s also a Certified Dental Assistant, so you may even find her assisting Dr. AJ. Yazmin is bilingual in Spanish and English.
Yazmin was born in Colorado but raised here in Wichita. She and her husband are raising an adventurous daughter and stubborn wiener dog. They love traveling, fishing, and discovering lesser-known eateries.
Kathy
Kathy was born and raised in Wichita. She has been in dentistry for most of her career. She worked chairside for five years before moving to the front desk where she enjoys greeting patients.
She and her husband have raised 3 sons. When they aren’t hosting extravagant family dinners, they are busy renovating their home.
Dani
Dani brings a wealth of experience and passion to the team. She began her career in dentistry in 2008 as a dental assistant before earning her degree in dental hygiene and becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist. After several years of clinical practice, Dani transitioned into leadership, where she found her calling in practice management.
With a strong background in both patient care and operations, Dani ensures that the office runs smoothly and that every patient receives exceptional service. She is also highly knowledgeable in dental insurance, including Medicare plans, and is always happy to help our patients navigate their coverage.
Outside of the office, Dani enjoys reading, writing, and staying active. She loves to explore our National Parks and continues to work on staying upright on her rollerblades.
